New Material at Last!

It ain't much, but click on my bro here to see a few snapshots from our trip to Portland last March, 2004.

Welcome to the Kan clan home on the web!
If you can't make it home, at least you can make it here. I am your host, webmaster and humble servant, John Kan Lee. If this is your first time here, allow me to give you the guided tour:

The Big Store Photo album features pictures of my grandpa, Ping Kan Lee, and my uncle, Dee Kan, working hard in the last days of the Big Store.

You can also view photos from the Kan clan gathering on Memorial Day, 2001. My dad, Jeff Kan Lee, took all of these pictures while wearing either shorts or nylon jogging pants that go swish swish swish. Be sure to read the limericks in praise of Pop on the Father's Day Page.

The Hawaiian Holiday Page features highlights from the recent island sojourn of select Kan clan members. I'm sure that you, O Humble Visitor, are as envious as I, the falsely humble webmaster, but at least we have these JPEGs to keep us warm. As Uncle Dee is apt to remind me, it isn't luck, but hard work, that got him here. So quit yer bitchin' and get back to work, or at least minimize this window before the boss sees you. Then, maybe, someday, if you are good, all this will be yours.

For those of you bound for more humble climes, check out the pix of my brother's family on the Portland Powwow Page.

The Birthday Galleries feature highlights from the 85th birthday of my favorite grandpa, Ping Kan Lee. These lovely photographs are courtesy of my dad, Jeff Kan Lee, the award-winning photo journalist (really, no BS).

The Cheepers & Blinky page features a rare photograph of the Raspberry-stained-beak Cheepersbird, as well as a snapshot of the even more reclusive Blinky Bluebird. But there are plenty more where these came from; follow the links on this page to go to the Cheepers & Blinky Home Page!

The Favorite Links Page provides a variety of informative and entertaining hyperlinks, including historical information on the town of Locke, California, the rural Chinese community founded by my great grandfather.

The Guest Book Page is a place for visitors to sign in and leave useful comments and suggestions. It is checked frequently, as the webmaster doesn't have much of a life.
